Why? In the hope of preparing tomorrow’s workforce to meet the challenges of a competitive global market as well as supporting promising leaders, like yourself, who recognize the importance of equity, the NCRC has created The Academy for Leadership & Equity (TALE). TALE is a FREE experiential learning program designed for you, current 7th & 8th students, interested in leadership roles and exploring nontraditional careers: those where one gender comprises less than 25% of those employed. You will also be challenged to make a difference in your schools by developing and implementing a social awareness project related to equity to be shared with your peers.
